Producing global events means we travel to some incredible places, most recently Singapore for day two of a global roadshow.
The hybrid event series explored global themes in credit, taking us to financial hubs across the globe, the first destination being Singapore, known for its lush green spaces amidst the bustling city and world-class airport. Arriving you instantly understand why it’s known as the Garden City. The Changi Airport is part of the experience in itself, with an indoor waterfall and over 500 000 plants making it feel more jungle than airport.
Green from the ground up
Singapore is leading the way to a sustainable future, with a mission to become the world’s most sustainable urban destination by 2030. This makes it an inspiring environment for discussions on climate and net zero and we are able to implement sustainability ourselves by measuring the carbon footprint of the entire event series.
Almost 50% of the metropolis consists of green spaces, with innovative ways to weave nature throughout. Buildings exhibit green roofs and vertical gardens such as the iconic PARKROYAL Pickering.
One of the most impressive sights to see in Singapore is the towering Super tree Grove at Gardens by the Bay. The futuristic structures are up to 50 metres high, housing hundreds of thousands of plants. They even function like live trees, being utilised to catch rainwater and store energy through solar panels for the nightly light shows.

PARKROYAL Pickering
A stay at the world’s leading green city hotel is sure to leave guests feeling inspired with its iconic architecture intertwined with nature and innovative green features. Included in the many spaces available to connect are two boardrooms, a pre-function area and the William Pickering ballroom which can accomodate up to 400 attendees.
The stunning PARKROYAL COLLECTION Pickering is well-known as a jungle in the city and Singapore’s first hotel-in-a-garden, with 15,000 square metres of towering greenery, sky gardens and reflecting pools. This organic feel is reflected in the event spaces, which are flooded with natural light and designed in soft hues.
Broadsword Asia Pacific delivered day two of the roadshow at the The Westin Hotel in the heart of the financial district along Marina Bay. The business hotel, owned by Marriott, hosts floor to ceiling glass windows to enjoy views of the Marina Bay skyline during breaks from credit discussions.
Set above Singapore’s tree-lined Orchard Boulevard, the sophisticated hotel is in the heart of the city’s business, shopping and entertainment district. Whether planning a gala for 280 or a business conference, Four Seasons Singapore has ten event spaces noted for their natural light.
Choose from two ballrooms, each with pre-event rooms, multiple meeting spaces or a penthouse venue with a panoramic views and an outdoor patio.
The St. Regis Singapore is situated at the crossroads of the embassy district, UNESCO World Heritage Site Singapore Botanic Gardens, and Orchard Road shopping. As well as its 299 rooms, the hotel offers ten refined event spaces with capacities ranging from 18 to 600 guests.
These include the John Jacob ballroom, named after the founder of the St. Regis New York, which is adorned with chandeliers for extravagant celebratory events or large-scale conferences.
Caroline’s Mansion, sat adjacent to the the hotel, also offers a beautifully designed and exclusive setting that mirrors the high society events that would take place at the home of Caroline Astor. Throughout the grand entrance, foyer and ballroom there are art-deco chandeliers, brass features, and custom bevelled glass inspired by Astor’s jewellery collection.
