A celebration of a century

Deeply rooted in Asia with a global footprint, Nomura is a financial services group with an integrated global network. By connecting markets East & West, they service the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments through four business divisions: Wealth Management, Investment Management, Wholesale, and Banking.

And for 100 years, Nomura has been driven by trust, collaboration, and innovation. We were proud to support Nomura to create an unforgettable gala dinner that brought together 700 guests for this major milestone.

We encouraged guests to look back and reflect on the company’s heritage with meaningfully produced installations, visual timelines, and interactive quizzes in an experience that immersed guests into the company culture, while setting sights on an exciting future filled with shared purpose and bold possibilities. The evening integrated meaningful traditional celebrations and performances centred around an impactful stage.

Setting the tone was a powerful Taiko drum performance, an Acappella choir, and a Sake barrel breaking ceremony with bespoke branded barrels to symbolise the opening of a new chapter, along with a tuna cutting spectacle!

We also created bespoke installations and shareable photo opportunities inspired by traditional Japanese culture including an ambient centrepiece featuring sake barrels and sakura decor to honour and capture the origin city of Nomura – Osaka.

A special interactive touch was a wish wall installation, inviting guests to stamp on and write wishes on wooden plaques known as Ema in Japanese temples, enhancing cultural engagement and meaningful participation with guests wishing Nomura Happy 100 years.

The Nomura Group 100th Anniversary Gala Dinner balanced celebration with meaning in a thoughtfully curated experience, paying homage to a remarkable legacy.
